It was 12 noon on Monday. There was a crowd of bank officers and employees at the mortuary of the district hospital. Meanwhile, an eight year old girl Trisha arrived in school dress with her mother Amrita. Perhaps till that time the girl was unaware of her father’s death.
Tears were flowing from the mother’s eyes but the daughter had only one question again and again – where are mom and dad? Neither the mother nor the people present there had any answer to this question of the girl. These questions of the girl brought tears to the eyes of other people.
Saurabh Srivastava lived in a flat in Akash Apartment in Krishna Nagar Sindhu Nagar, Lucknow with his wife Amrita and eight-year-old daughter Trisha. Daughter is studying in third class. Due to bank holiday on Sunday, Saurabh stayed with the family the whole day.
After dropping his daughter at school on Monday morning, Saurabh left for Chandausi with Divyanshu and Amit. At that time he would not have even thought that he was going to leave his daughter for the last time. Saurabh, Amit and Divyanshu died in an accident while going to Chandausi.
The police had kept everyone’s bodies in the mortuary of the district hospital. On getting information about the accident, Amrita took her daughter from school straight to the mortuary. By then the staff of Axis Bank and other banks had also reached. He tried to take care of the mother and daughter.
Amit’s family and friends cried bitterly
Amit Rana, resident of Khushalpur Preet Vihar, Majhola, was deputy manager in a private finance company. On receiving information about the accident, Amit’s family and friends reached the mortuary of the district hospital.
Initially they had received information that Amit had met with an accident and was injured. He has been sent to the district hospital. When we reached the district hospital, we came to know that Amit had also died. Amit is survived by his wife Chanchal, son Ayush and daughter Ayushi. While there is a sister.
